Terms of use

The rules for using Crag Tools. Last updated 24 October 2026.

1.The service

Crag Tools offers free climbing tools: TendonGuard, a training-load tracker, and InCondition, a crag-conditions score. By using it you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

2.Estimates, not advice

Every figure is an estimate, not medical or safety advice. A load-risk band doesn't diagnose or prevent injury; a conditions score doesn't mean a crag is safe, dry or open.

Climbing is dangerous. You decide when and how to climb, and you're responsible for it. See a professional about any pain or injury.

3.Your account

Keep your password to yourself: you're responsible for what's done with your account. You can delete it at any time from your account settings. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

4.Contributions

Crags and edits you submit are released under CC0 1.0 (public domain) and may be changed or removed by moderators. Only submit information you're free to share.

5.Fair use

Don't attack, overload or scrape the service, work around its limits, or use it to break the law.

6.No guarantee

The service is free and provided as is, without any guarantee of availability, accuracy or fitness for a purpose, as far as the law allows. It may change or stop at any time.

7.Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Questions: ct [at] androw [dot] eu.
